Karina Diglyte to Feature in an Al Pacino Film

Al Pacino has been known for several great works, but it seems that he has not stopped there. Continuing on with his film work, it seems his next film "Being There" will be his next big hit – and actress Karina Diglyte gets to work alongside the talented actor and filmmaker. The opportunity to work with such a talented actor comes for a shock to anyone, but it seems Karina Diglyte is staying humble about her role and just enjoying the experience. "My biggest achievement is that I was cast to play a lead role in a feature film opposite Al Pacino," said the beautiful starlet, Karina Diglyte, in a personal interview. It seems as though she is taking this for a full advantage as a way to further the depths and success of her career as an actress. However, this is not the only project the actress has in the works either.

"I am about to shoot British Thriller ”Intoxicated", which was developed out of a short film I filmed with Rishi Opel. I am also shooting a fantasy feature film “The Editor”, where i play a controversial lead role of a devil’s daughter, this year,” says the actress. "I have a lead part in feature film "Undercut", to be shot in United states of America, not to mention I am cast for a HULU TV feature film “Fathers day”, produced by TV4 chanel head of entertainment Paul Duddridge, which is going to be shot in Los Angeles this year as well." It seems that with all the excitement undergoing, the actress has made a full plate for herself this year. Nevertheless, the beautiful bombshell actress is expected to perform well in each of her roles, using her impeccable acting training skills.

Karina's final words to her fans and aspiring performers were clean and simple.
"My advice is follow your heart and take your head with you. I would say be creative, innovative, try new things, grow as personalities as well as performers and enjoy being who you are and bring yourself to the characters. Go for it and enjoy the process." Both a warm-hearted person and talented actress, Karina Diglyte stands as an inspiration for many women looking to pursue a career in acting.

The Shakespeare loving Blioux Kirkby

Blioux Kirkby has always applied herself with great perseverance and an even more great sense of passion. It came as nothing short of a delight to everyone when she formed a theatre club at school for younger students and directed a wildly successful production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Almost as spellbinding and captivating as the story from Shakespeare himself. Of course it took first prize in a Shakespeare for Schools Festival. Blioux loves to inspire people through her love of the arts.

With an early love of Shakespeare Blioux Kirkby easily dawned the role of  co-directing as well as performing as a principal role in her production, Winter’s Rages, taking extracts from the great Shakespeare’s works of art and pretty much linking them through human aspects, such as emotions and songs. Winter’s Rages was so beautifully and flawlessly performed at the famous Rose Playhouse (next to Shakespeare’s Globe) it came as no surprise that audiences very well received it. Her production did exceptionally well, selling out several times during its run.

After her eventual graduating from drama school, Blioux has been frequently involved in productions by the fantastic immersive theatre company, Secret Cinema. Secret Cinema takes the audience into an immersive environment of a prestigious film (e.g. The Shawshank Redemption which took place in a prison).  Secret Cinema is highly successful and an exciting new company to be involved with.

She has basic burlesque training, sword fighting and combat skills, horse riding and accents that include America, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, French, Russian, and London. Blioux has always known from a young age that her vivid imagination and creativity would only be cultivated and enhanced through a career in acting.

Kirkby lends her talents to a wide array of  theater productions, including lead actress in “Winter’s Rages”  , Day By Night”, and  “Sweet Bird Of Youth” just to name a few.

Creative Spirit- Filmmaker Veloudenia Ntatsopoulos

Veloudenia Ntatsopoulos, a native of Athens, Greece, is the defining epitome of  “creative spirit” at large. Educated at the London Metropolitan University in London, England and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and International Relations, it would seem that Velvet would be destined for a political career, or at the very least, a peripatetic ambassador to the world. However, as fate and her choice would have it, her disposition lent itself to a self-realized actualization of an artist-in-process.

She landed her first production job as a First Assistant Director and Operations Manager to Anisma Films – a company with offices in Athens and New York. From 2010 to 2014, her duties included support to the company President and overseeing the great majority of internal operations. She was instrumental in the success of the critically acclaimed documentary “Great Directors”, due in large part to her skill and expertise in the area of social media, but no less to her talent in controlling film finances, production budget and exercising authority over casting decisions and securing needed locations.

Not merely an extremely adept facilitator for most things film-related, Velvet is also in the process of publishing her first volume of poetry. An exciting part of her recent past also included volunteer work at the 2004 Olympic Games and for the 2013 Athens City Marathon. She admits her inspiration for moving forward with stealth and purpose are movies inspired by such artists as Bertolucci, Truffaut and the legendary Tarantin

Keeping up with Waleed Elgadi!

One need only look on Google http://bit.ly/1ARnWtO or http://www.imdb.me/waleedelgadi to witness the rise of Sudanese-Egyptian, UK star Waleed Elgadi. His schooling started on scholarship at the iconoclastic theater school of Hurtwood House College, he then finished his undergraduate tour at the University of Liverpool with an honors degree in English Literature and Philosophy before gaining his classical training at the Mountview Academy for the Performing Arts. As he put it in a recent interview “I was now a professional show-off” … and obviously with the chops and credentials to back up such a declaration!

He has worked continuously in his field for thirteen years – this despite an early handicap of being afflicted with undiagnosed dyslexia. This obstacle proved minimal in the face of Waleed’s monolithic ambition to excel in the arts and excel he has. With a truly enviable career that has seen him traverse with ease through film, TV and theatre for such recognizable organizations as the BBC, HBO, Film4, Playtone and Studio Canal amongst others, Elgadi has set his sights on working with the best. Inspired by the likes of Meryl Streep, Robin Williams and Daniel Day Lewis, Waleed recently co-starred in the star-studded film production of “Hologram for the King” opposite film icon, Tom Hanks.

This kind of film success was not an isolated occurrence, as he also landed the recurring guest star role of Waleed Rashid in Fox’s mega-hit television series “Tyrant”, followed hard upon by being cast in the Ridley Scott produced mini series “Killing Jesus” as Saul. Waleed’s tenacity and ambition have also lead to the formation of his own production company, appropriately named, Newborn Productions. It appears that he will not be content long to simply be an actor; no, his goal will be to captain and star in his own film vehicles one day and to that end, the journey continues forward!

Be fearless… and fierce with Emily Yuen

Such a strong-willed individual never has graced Australia’s dance world, apart from Emily Yuen. Talented in… well, everything, she has quickly become an international star.
Her talents range from dancing, to acting, to modelling, to writing, and the list goes on.
But when the time comes and you have to choose a career direction – of course you choose what you are best at. And so, Emily Yuen has been working her ass off to get where she is in the international dance industry.

However, other highlights of her talent include working as an assistant creative director at Motif Dance Productions, as well as a freelance fashion styling assistant to Olivia Waugh, Nicki Colbran, and Pip Vassett. But when you have as much beauty as Yuen, you have to get out there and model too. She has done numerous shoots (many she claims were for friends), and runway shows, to add to her resume.
The biggest highlight of her career involved a performance to an Imogen Heap song in the Locreado Dance Company season show of 2011. She says it has always been a personal goal of hers to perform it – and boy did she kill it!

She looks to Mia Michaels as an idol, who also happens to be her favorite choreographer. Inspired by her Cirque du Soleil work, Yuen was inspired by a ‘whole new world of skill and emotion’ within performance, that she feels has dramatically shaped her own skills. Yuen believes this is the most important skill for any dancer, regardless of their strengths, physically. Yuen’s personality makes her stand out more than other performers on the Australian scene. Currently, Emily Yuen is preparing to leave for her adventures in the United States, following her dreams to continue her career as a performer.

Anna McNiven's 'Guru Neil', set for a 2015 release

What would you do if—as a friendly get-in-shape nudge—a friend signed you up for a smooth, refreshing colonic?

If you’re anything like Neil, hero of Anna McNiven’s new comedy Guru Neil, this moment of discomfort is where all the magic starts. From this unlikely beginning, Neil embarks on the path of New Age discovery to become Guru Neil, a modern-day holy man whose duties range from marketing for fast food companies to leading his blog followers on a mission to better the world’s health, spread consciousness, and conquer anything that gets in the way of enlightened living. Not an easy task for a 9-5 office drone with a hot wife and a mortgage to pay.

But after a series of awkward, sometimes humiliating wake-up calls, Neil has the veil lifted from his eyes, quits his job, and dedicates his life whole-heartedly to his blog. His wife may not have complete faith in his new found spiritual mission—especially as far as that mortgage is concerned—but his homespun wisdom and flair for the ridiculous catches on like wildfire. Suddenly, Guru Neil’s got a few “disciples” on his doorstep ready to change the world one juice cleanse, Ayahuasca ceremony, and conspiracy theory at a time. With these true believers depending on him, Neil has to step up and lead his flock to Nirvana while figuring out his own spiritual path. He may be the guru, but he’s still pretty much winging it.

Along the way, Guru Neil touches on some of today’s hot-button topics: spirituality, marriage equality, health and holistic healing, conspiracy theories, and all of the little battles everyone faces while seeking out an authentic, fulfilling life. Guru Neil is the brainchild of Anna McNiven, an Australian actress, writer and director living in Los Angeles. Anna conceived the idea in her home country in 2013, before moving to LA, where she got straight to casting, directing and producing the series. Helping her bring Guru Neil to life are brothers Antonio and Karl White of Glendale production house Oak House Pictures, who have previously worked with clients such as Snoop Dogg, BET Television, and MTV.

Michael Rosinsky plays Neil with a dedication and energy that will have you rolling in your seat. McNiven co-stars in a hilarious role as the receptionist at the Colonic Center, while Sarah Randall Hunt has a spectacular turn as Neil’s wife. The rest of the series is just as packed with memorable characters, including dreaded Acupuncturist Dr Chong (Chayce Lee), and Justin Andrews and Ryan Dietz as the friendly gay couple next-door.

The series is currently in production and slated for release by mid-2015.
Get your popcorn ready, align your chakras, and look out for Guru Neil premiering next year.

Music is a Passion: Violetta Gaetani

Violetta Gaetani may not be new to the music scene, as she’s been around it her whole life – but her EP is definitely new to the music scene. Influenced by bands like 30 Seconds to Mars and Paramore, it is a new sound that combines elements of modern and commercial rock with the sound of metal guitars and heavy riffs and breakdowns.

Gaetani is both successful and down to earth, her love for music shown in even the manner in which she speaks. She began song-writing at the small age of ten and since, her love for music has only grown stronger.
She describes her artist practice as one of telling a story; she isn’t the kind to write songs that have no meaning. Though she describes writing music for herself and her band, Afraid of My Neighbor, as holding “completely different energies”, but both have such an important role in her life.

Her ideal collaboration would be with David Grohl from the Foo Fighters, describing him as a man she admires so much, but would also like to work on music with different DJs. She’s all for creating new sounds and finding where her music fits in the industry.

Her own music is usually love ballads, which are songs very close to her heart – whilst her band gives her a stress release, with powerful and catchy songs. Gaetani may not be well known in Australia, but is certainly becoming a bigger player on the world stage than she ever imagined.
