Taking on the world of acting and impressing audiences, Mandy Thandi!
Mandy, now 24 years of age (and on paper, successful) young actress from Birmingham,
England, proudly declares she wants her favorite action star, Dwayne Johnson, to play opposite
her in a film one day. She may see that dream come true, after acquiring top television, film and
theatrical representation in Atlanta, London and Los Angeles. The film roles since 2013 have
been consistent, with four now firmly under her belt.
Adding to her acting achievements, it must be noted that Mandy is also a writer – she created the
original role of “Trixie” in a University play called Behind Closed Doors at the University of
Bedfordshire. She is inspired by two outstanding actresses, both, like Mandy, from Indian
descent: Preeya Kalidas and Parminder Nagra. A recent guest starring performance in an
episode of a television series “Guilty Pleasures” round out an impressive resume thus far by Ms.
Mandy Thandi.
Her future plans are to move permanently to the United States. There, she will work with her
agent and manager to ‘climb her way to the top.” Mandy’s paramount advice to aspiring
performances it “to ‘just go for it’ … it’s a big risk,” she says, “but we only live once … why not
do something you enjoy?” Words to the wise in whatever field one endeavors to excel in.

Shevalier Shehantha already leaving a lasting dent on the acting world!
In the entertainment
industry, there are very few actors who make a long lasting dent within the
industry. Shevalier Shehantha, an incredible actor from Ratnapura, Sri
Lanka who has achieved performing arts diplomas from some of London, England's
great acting institutions such as LAMDA, Trinity Guildhall College London and
London College of Music and Media (a faculty of Thames Valley University), has
taken the entertainment industry by storm. There's no role or character he
couldn't play and his list of skills are endless. He's received training from
both sides of the Atlantic from UK as well as USA. He received a Bachelors
degree double majoring in International Business and Management from Northwood
University, Michigan. Shevalier has nurtured his craft at many prestigious
establishments like the South Coast Repertory, where he enrolled in the
actor intensive program in 2013. He trained with the likes of Joanne DeNaut
CSA, Karen Hensel, Hal London Jr, and Greg

Keeping up with Waleed Elgadi!
One need only look on Google http://bit.ly/1ARnWtO
or http://www.imdb.me/waleedelgadi
to witness the rise of Sudanese-Egyptian, UK star Waleed Elgadi. His schooling
started on scholarship at the iconoclastic theater school of Hurtwood House
College, he then finished his undergraduate tour at the University of Liverpool
with an honors degree in English Literature and Philosophy before gaining his
classical training at the Mountview Academy for the Performing Arts. As he put
it in a recent interview “I was now a professional show-off” … and obviously
with the chops and credentials to back up such a declaration!
He has worked continuously in his field for thirteen years –
this despite an early handicap of being afflicted with undiagnosed dyslexia.
This obstacle proved minimal in the face of Waleed’s monolithic ambition to
excel in the arts and excel he has. With a truly enviable career that has seen
him traverse with ease through film, TV and theatre for such recognizable
organizations as the BBC, HBO, Film4, Playtone and Studio Canal amongst others,
Elgadi has set his sights on working with the best. Inspired by the likes of
Meryl Streep, Robin Williams and Daniel Day Lewis, Waleed recently co-starred
in the star-studded film production of “Hologram for the King” opposite film
icon, Tom Hanks.
This kind of film success was not an isolated occurrence, as
he also landed the recurring guest star role of Waleed Rashid in Fox’s mega-hit
television series “Tyrant”, followed hard upon by being cast in the Ridley
Scott produced mini series “Killing Jesus” as Saul. Waleed’s
tenacity and ambition have also lead to the formation of his own production
company, appropriately named, Newborn Productions. It appears that he will not
be content long to simply be an actor; no, his goal will be to captain and star
in his own film vehicles one day and to that end, the journey continues
forward!
