Morgan James
is a British actor and singer well known for recurrent collaborations with BBC
along the last 20 years. Despite being born in Wales, James started his series
of works on BBC quite earlier, and since then moved to London where he also
dedicated a lot of his time on theater plays. In the last years, James also dedicated himself to music, singing and
performing live. Recently, he also adventured himself as a theater
practitioner, bring the dramatic skills to a corporate set of creative
practices in Los Angeles. Restless would be the best word to describe this skilled artist who has the
performance as his main goal.
Early
Years
James was always interested in good
projects, despite being able to be lead or supportive character. The beginning
of his career happened while BBC was shooting a movie for TV on the little
village where he was born and raised in the South Wales. At the time only a
child, James appeared on BBC's The Citadel adaption and from that time on he would
pursue the dramatic arts during his childhood and teens with a serious aim to
become a professional actor. During his
early '20s he moved to London, where he would play a part more often on all
series of production, both for TV and theater, which turned to be one of his
big passions overall. He even graduated on Brunel University on Drama and
American history.
TV
Morgan has been work on several productions
on BBC and gathered enough experience to even work behind the cameras as a
writer and voice continuity presenter. In the recent years he notably could be
seen on productions like Wanted and Aberfan-The Untold Story from the British
TV channel. Most notably, he could be seen recently on BBC's hit series Being
Human as an eccentric gimp villain in one of the episodes of the second season. Also, in late
'00s Morgan got a regular part as the continuity presenter of BBC's Watch
channel, where he was to do his job as a live presenter.
Cinema and
Theater
As the TV screens seem not enough to his
eager talent, James is restless and work on many different projects. Recently
he played a part in independent productions of the British cinema, like in the
web shorts series The Red Zone. However, the theater has been and is one of his main stages. His work includes
praised plays like Joe DePietro's "F***ing Man!" and John Osborne's
"The Devil Inside Him".
Morgan is actively working on all these
drama fields these days, going where the great projects calls.
