Brian Carroll is an extremely talented actor; he has
featured in countless films, music videos and featured in a commercial by
Verizon. Brian Carroll attended the Lacken National Primary
School in Ireland; he later went on to join speech and drama classes in 1987
through to 1995. In 2010, he joined The Acting Corps Los Angeles up until 2011
when he joined the Theatre of Arts Acting School for a 2-year associate degree.
He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Business management from the Dublin
Business School University.
Brian is a man of many talents as he is also an
accomplished pianist, can speak in many accents ranging from Scottish to
Jamaican to Russian. He also loves snooker, soccer and swimming.
He recently
shot a video for a band called Tempest Le Mans where he was cast as an LAPD
Officer who beats a suspect to death. He has since received countless offers
for both short films and music videos, recently he played an FBI
agent in a music video titled Kidunot Stereo Love, he also auditioned for yet another music
video titled Running by Gallest (Rihanna’s brother) where he plays a corrupt
LAPD officer and he got the role which he has just shot. He has just been cast for
a role as LAPD in a feature film titled Toxic Tutu which will be filmed next
week and also another short film titled Last Orders where he will play a taxi
driver who bonds with an elderly passenger over a tragic incident in her life.
His role in the
following films Compound 147, The Corner, Carpe Diem, Perception & Super 35
especially stood out and helped him cement his place as an established actor. Brian plays LAPD in the film Compound 147
questioning a young wealthy investor named Alex whose fiancé suffers from
depression. He puts all his money on an experimental drug that provides hope
for a cure but he ends up losing everything. He has also starred in a couple of
other big studio movies like Awaken & 72 Hours by Warner Bros studios.
Brian says this has
been a long journey to the top. His advice to upcoming actors is to keep at it
even when it is most tempting to quit and it will eventually pay off. “Keep on
keeping on” He says.
