Who is Cengiz Dervis?
He started acting at the age of 9 doing school plays and went on to make short no budget films as a teenager with his friends. From the age of 5 he has trained in martial arts and is now a master and former kickboxing champion, an unarmed and armed combat expert!
So what's he been up to?
He's spent the last 12 years training as and working as an actor and has landed leading roles in a number of feature films such as, 'By Any Name', 'Retribution', Life Is Too Short',
and more! He's worked in various genres such as Horror, Action, Drama, Sci-Fi, and Thriller and has a number of films yet to debut. He's been nominated for a number of film festival awards including Best Performance By an Actor in a Leading Role and Best Villain and his short film 'Drake' won best short film at the Action on Film international film Festival in California.
Where is he headed?
So some of you might say after all that, where is he headed? There has to be a next move, right? Well he currently has multiple upcoming feature film projects such as 'The Drake Files', 'Galahad' and 'The Meeting' and there's now talk of a few US projects in the pipeline...
With all these achievements it's clear this actor has a very interesting journey ahead of him and I'm looking forward to enjoying some more great work by him!
